It’s the last month of the year but we're still making improvements to our platform. From easier ways to edit listings to better Chinese address validation, here are the highlights.
PORTALS
Redesigned listing edit page
We’ve improved our listing edit page on portals to make managing listings easier. The new design emphasizes the most-used fields and reduces confusion around settings that only apply in certain cases, making it quicker and easier to update listings.
ORDERS
Recipient information improvements
We now support providing contact details for the receiver when placing a domestic order through the inventory management page, just as we do for international orders. Additionally, we now send shipment confirmation emails directly to the recipient’s email address for both inventory management and portal orders. This update gives recipients who didn’t place the original order better visibility into their deliveries, making communication and order tracking easier than ever.
GENERAL
Address book expansion
We’ve restored the “address book” feature, which allows admins to save frequently used addresses and quickly select them during checkout on portals, when placing orders in inventory management, or when submitting jobs. All saved addresses are stored in one central location, making them accessible across systems for a seamless experience. This feature was temporarily limited while we made essential back-end improvements, but it is now fully restored and available to everyone.
SHIPPING
Improved Chinese address validation
Our address validation tool now supports city and postal code validation for Chinese addresses, and we’ve expanded this validation everywhere our tool is used to improve shipment delivery success to China. We're steadily working to expand address validation to more locations around the world.
Coming Soon
API
Endpoint to check redemption code status
We're building a new API endpoint to check the status of individual redemption codes. The endpoint will provide key details about the code – such as whether it has already been used, when it was claimed, when the code email was opened, and the order number associated with the code – making tracking codes easier and faster through automation.
LOGINS
Improving expired invitation flow
When a user clicks on an expired account invitation link, we're making our messaging clearer and improving the process for resending the invite if they don't yet have an account. The user will see a message stating that the invite has expired, along with clear instructions on next steps. If they don’t have an account, their invitation email will be automatically resent, allowing them to set up their account and sign in without needing to contact anyone.
